Train Dispatchers are the air
traffic controllers of the railroads. They control the movement
of trains over large track territories. This game simulates the
gargantuan routing tasks a real-life dispatcher faces daily. The
problem is that trains must share a limited number of tracks.
It some cases a single track must be shared by trains going in
opposite directions. It is the job of the dispatcher to control
the movement of trains over this limited resource, which can create
one bottleneck after another.
Train Dispatcher 2 is now available
for free. Please feel free to copy and distribute this version.
Included with Train Dispatcher
2 are five track territories. Another 200 can be downloaded for
free from our web site from our "Customer Contributed (Free)"
track territory library.
In appreciation
of the loyalty of our many customers who purchased Train Dispatcher
2 prior to the release of Train Dispatcher 3, we will not make
territories from our "For Sale" library available for
freeware users. Therefore, you should not try to purchase territories
unless you have a full version of Train Dispatcher 3.

$4 for shipping and handling. The registrable version comes on
a CD-ROM and includes a 50 page hardcopy manual. A registrable
copy of Train Dispatcher 2 allows you to upgrade to Train Dispatcher
3 for the special upgrade price of $30 and to purchase "For
Sale" territories. Please note that we have a limited supply
of this product.
